The organizing group is called ”Flashmob Division” which is willing to accept new members as well.

”The goal is to have an intertainment and fun, to make the life of youth more lively, to draw attention on social-cultural issues and to offer new ways of self expression,” mentions Eduard Levanyan, one of the co-founders.
The latest Yerevan flashmobs were dedicated to massive reading and national symbols.

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:121:]]

Organizing groups exist not only in Yerevan, but also in Gyumri and Vanadzor.

”The group was formed in Gyumri Student Council. We got to know about flashmob from the internet. Our first mob occured about a year ago: in Central Square of Gyumri we danced Qochari with 70 persons which surprised the passers by,” says the responsible of Gyumri flashmob team Karen Raphaelyan.
The team cooperated with ”Gyumri Youth Bank” commitee, Shirak Youth Concil, and with the student councils of the universities of Gyumri.

”Though organizing flashmobs in Gyumri is a difficult task it creates brighter feelings than in any other place,” assures K. The flashmob was dedicated to the tolerance towards other cultures.

”Tolerance is one of the most crucial issues the youth faces today.
