Ernest Vardanyan’s mother’s appeal

Me -Tamara Shagoyan, Ernest Vardanyan’s mother – appeal (for already many times) to the heads of the leading countries of the world, to 5+2 format countries, which are created to solve the Transnistrian problem, to the worldwide society, to international organizations hoping to be heard.

I appeal to all and everyone: HELP!

The nightmare that lasted 8 months (Ernest Vardanyan was arrested on April 7, 2010, in the capital of TMR) ended with the most absurd, terrible and craziest way: the Supreme Court of Transnistria sentenced my son Ernest Vardanyan to 15 years’ imprisonment under strict colony regime for spying for Moldova.

I think that this decision has put an end to the life of the 30-year-old journalist, politologist and father of two little children. Such unprecedented violation of human rights can be fatal in the young man’s and his family’s life.

I appeal to the President of Transnistrian Moldovan Republic I. Smirnov: please, show support in Ernest Vardanyan’s release question, for he was treated too strictly.

Realizing that the aim of the country leaders, international organizations is to serve the people, as a mother I ask to undertake all the possible and impossible actions, use all political and diplomatic tools to release Ernest Vardanyan.
