This year for the first time, the British Council in partnership with VivaCell-MTS has announced a new Student Award within the established annual media competition that already covers 6 award categories – TV, radio, newspaper, online/blog, photo journalism and social/commercial ads.
Na/Ne is being run in Armenia for the third consecutive year, supported by the British Embassy in Yerevan and the OSCE office in Yerevan. This year the event has received additional support from the UNFPA and VivaCell-MTS.
Each year we receive more than one hundred applications from journalists representing established and well recognised local media outlets. This is a unique opportunity for students to start their journalistic career and gain recognition alongside well known journalists.
Students are invited to submit their stories in any journalistic genre broadcasted or published within the period of January to December 2010. For this specific category we will also accept stories which have not been broadcast or printed yet.
The winner will get a Na/Ne statuette and a special prize from VivaCell-MTS – a new HTC Hero mobile phone.
