Parajanov House Museum Website Gets Armnet Awards Grand Prix

The website of Sergei Parajanov house museum, http://parajanovmuseum.am, designed by ZOOM GRAPHICS received the grand prix of Armnet Awards web contest.

The project got most of the votes in all nominations, specifically for best technical solution.

The award for Design and Usability also went to ZOOM GRAPHICS for Bogossian Gardens, www.bg.am website of the Lovers’ Park.

http://www.rate.am designed by SFL to provide information about the currency exchange rate in various Armenian banks was named the Progress of the Year.

http://e-gov.am was announced the winner in Best Innovation nomination.

http://armcomedy.com , the blog of ArmComedy was praised for original and fresh content.

The international jury selected the winners out of 640 websites.

 “The websites violating the copyright law or those calling for violence and intolerance were filtered first of all. Then the jury went on selecting the winners of 6 nominations,” ArmNet Awards project manager Zhirayr Terzyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.

The 2010 edition of the Armnet Awards aimed to individualize the best Armenian sites on the Web. The competition pitched sites that have been built by and for Armenians during the years 2008 – 2010.
