Iran closes a TV channel

Iranian authorities closed a satelite TV channel partially owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. and arrested five eployees.

Mass media say that five employees were arrested because of “antirevolutional activity”.

The entertainment satelite TV channel Farsi1 was broadcasting TV novels and soap operas translated into Farsi.
