The National Council of Radiobroadcasting announced the winner of the contest for FM 103.3 frequency. It is the Goden Prince company. The station of the company is called “Azad Haber” (“Free News”) but they will be on air as “Araz”.
There were more experienced and popular contestants. But the jury did not even took into consideration the fact that for many years the informational leader of independent Azerbaijan was Turan IA.
In the end, the frequency was handed to a company that has been unknown in the media sphere. It is worthy to mention that the names of the Golden Prince’s owners were not given despite multiple requests which breaks the rules of the contest.
