Mohit Choudhary, 25-year-old Indian man, from New Delhi. In 2005 Armenia opened his gates for Mohit and this key was his future study in medicine. His exams points were decisive for him and now he is adopted in his second country as he used to say.
“It was a bit difficult in the beginning because of the mentality is a bit different in 2 nations even though we have so many same words, similar culture and hospitable people,” says Mohit. But even though Mohit is now integrated in our society he had cultural shock when landed here at first time.
As he says, he felt like the war was just finished in our country. It seemed to him like a small flat, small airport and less resources, but after visiting our Republic Square he felt that there was something in Armenia, something to be revealed.
After being here 8 years, you can find Mohit smoking kneed on his feet, using Armenian specific words, and sometimes even chasing after girls. For him words like “spas”, “tolma”, “khorovats” have become a great part of his life. In his opinion he should adopt himself as per to the country style if he wants to move forward and now he is doing it.
