Kickoff of a New Analytical Journalism Initiative

The “Journalists for the Future” NGO (JFF), with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation (FES), is launching a new journalism project starting in April. Within the framework of this initiative, analytical and explanatory articles will be published, focusing on topics related to state governance and local self-government, the effectiveness of current and planned socio-economic programs, and their impact on various segments of the population.

To kick off the project, JFF organized a working discussion on April 11 with the participation of journalists and experts involved in the initiative. During the meeting, economist Suren Parsyan and public administration specialist Artak Kyurumyan presented to the journalists the mechanisms of state governance, planning and implementation of reforms, institutional gaps, and the specifics of financial flows in the state budget.

Participants identified key topics to be researched and published in the upcoming period.
