December 10 is recognized as Human Rights Day all over the world. In 1948 that day Universal Declaration of Human Rights was ratified at Palais de Chaillot, Paris.

In the 60th anniversary of the Declaration “Journalists for the Future” NGO is covering a number of issues related to human rights violations in Armenia presenting the reader articles prepared by 14 journalists within the framework of a three-day seminar on “Raising the Role of the Media in Covering Justice and Law Enforcement System”.

The seminar was conducted on 27-29 October in Yerevan by our Luthuanian colleagues Dainius Radzevicius, President of Lithuanian Journalists Union and Audrys Antanaitis, famous TVreporter on TV5 channel of Lithuanian television and radio anchor of the program “Raktas”.

«Լրագրողներ հանուն ապագայի» հասարակական կազմակերպությունը, Երևանում Բրիտանիայի դեսպանատան օժանդակությամբ իր գործընկերներին հրավիրում է հոկտեմբերի 27, 28, 29-ին մասնակցել Երևանում կայանալիք «Լրագրության դերի բարձրացումը արդարադատության և օրենքի կիրառման համակարգերի լուսաբանման ոլորտում» թեմայով սեմինարին:

Սեմինարը կվարեն Լիտվայի Լրագրողների միության նախագահ Դենիուս Ռաջևիչուսը և Լիտվայի «5-րդ ալիք» ազգային հեռուստատեսության, ինչպես նաև «Ռակտաս» ռադիոհաղորդման հայտնի լրագրող և մեկնաբան Աուդրիս Անտանայտիսը:

Զեկույցներով հանդես կգան նաև Հայաստանի Գլխավոր դատախազության փորձագետները:

Lիտվացի փորձագետները կներկայացնեն լիտվական ժողովրդավարության զարգացումներն անցումային շրջանում, հատկապես ազատ մամուլի և այլ ժողովրդավարական հաստատությունների ասպարեզում:  Իբրև գործնական աշխատանք մասնակիցները կընտրեն   Հայաստանում իրավական և դատական ոլորտում առկա խոցելի խնդիրները, լիտվացի փորձագետների օգնությամբ կմշակեն ակնկալվող նյութերի կառուցվածքները և արդյունքում կպատրաստեն թեմատիկ հոդվածներ:

“Journalists for the Future” NGO with the support of the British Embassy Yerevan is inviting its colleagues to participate in a workshop on  Raising the Role of the Media in Covering Justice and Law Enforcement System being held on October 27, 28, 29 in Yerevan.

The workshop will be prepared and delivered by Dainius Radzevicius, chairman of Lithuanian Journalists Union and Audrys Antanaitis, famous journalist of Lithuanian National TV “5 channel” programs “Pulsas”, “Europulsas”, “Dviguba tiesa” and the News Radio “Žinių radijas”.

Experts from Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia will present their reports.

During the workshop the Lithuanian experts will present Lithuanian experience in establishing free media and democratic institutions in the transitional period.

The participants will choose the most vulnerable issues existing in Armenia, develop structures of potential stories and write thematic articles. The working language of the workshop is Russian and Armenian.

On September 4, Suren Deheryan, president of the “Journalists for the Future” NGO, delivered a lecture on “Perfecting Newsletter” as part of the annual conference of the Youth and Community Action Program (YCAP) held in Tsakhkadzor city. About 80 representatives of the youth clubs and community committees from 10 regions of Armenia participated in the seminar. The YCAP is realized by the Academy for Education Development in Armenia funded by USAID.
