Vahagn Vardumyan, 33, is an artist. He has started preparing handmade jewelry and drawing on T-shirts since 2004. He opened his blog to show his products.
“I earn enough due to my work. The prices begin from 700 to 2000 AMD. I think it’s not so expensive because I really work hard on them. It takes much time, so I appreciate my work, especially when working with love,” says Vahagn.
He says though he promotes his handmade jewelry on his blog and uses also other online tools, however, people do not pay the price until they see the product on their own eyes.
“For instance, when one likes something, s/he prefers to come and see it in real, too. And the payment takes place from hand to hand. Unfortunately, we still have no such service, when you can buy something and do online payment,” mentions Vahagn.
That’s why Vahagn thinks to open an on-line shop and make an easy way for paying. But, he says, the idea will take some time.
Arik Shahumyan, 27, who represents the Shahumyan Media, specialized in web design and internet marketing, says that he wants to create the first and the biggest on-line shop for Armenians.
“I have such an idea and hope it will come true soon. We will represent the products sold in our best shops,” says Arik.
